Melissa Verdier is a local Mystic artist who recently reverted her focus to creating landscapes in pastel.
“Subjects I have chosen for my paintings reflect moments of solitude and peace possibly evoking a favorite memory for the viewer. For my current work, I enjoy painting outdoor images of the changing seasons. I have re-kindled my interest in pastels which provide a soft representation of my East coast and inland locations.”
Melissa became an Elected Artist member at MMoA in 2004.
