Artists will be responsible for hanging their own artwork, and must arrange to do so on the date outlined in their assigned time slot. Two- and three-dimensional artwork may be displayed, with the proviso that three-dimensional artwork may not extend more than two feet from the wall. Artwork may be for sale or for display only. Artwork may be sold and replaced, or new works may be displayed throughout the six-week period at the artist’s discretion. MMoA will put potential buyers directly in contact with artists directly. Therefore, artists will receive the entire sales price (MMoA shall not take a commission).

Six time slots will be offered in 2020, each lasting six weeks based on MMoA’s 2020 exhibition schedule. The time period when the Museum is closed to the public for exhibition change-over will not count towards the Six-by-Six time slot. Six artists will show in each time slot, so that a total of 36 artists will be featured in a year. Type "ok" in the box below to acknowledge your understanding of these details:
A lottery system conducted by MMoA’s Exhibition Committee of elected member artists will ensure fairness in the randomized selection of artists for each Six-by-Six time slot. Two lotteries shall be held in the course of the year: one to choose the artists for the first half of the year, and one to choose the artists for the second half of the year. Artists who apply for, but are not chosen in, the first lottery will still be eligible for the second lottery within the 2020 exhibition calendar year. Type "ok" in the box below to acknowledge your understanding of these details:
Only MMoA Elected Member artists, with current membership status, are eligible to apply. Artists who win the lottery in 2020 will not be eligible in 2021, but may reapply in 2022. If an artist is selected by lottery but unable to exhibit, he or she may decline the opportunity and reapply in subsequent lotteries, and an auxiliary drawing will be held to fill the open slot.
Please fill out the form below and submit by *MONDAY, DECEMBER 9, 2019* to be included in the lottery for the February 2 to April 4, April 5 to June 20, and June 21 to August 1 time slots.
The deadline for the second lottery will be posted on MMoA’s website.
