Bryan Gorneau: Tongue in Cheek
Mystic Museum of Art is proud to present a solo exhibition of the work of Bryan Gorneau in our Liebig Gallery. A welder, sculptor, and mixed media artist from the Connecticut shoreline, Gorneau is also a frequent contributor to juried themed shows here at the museum.
Combining youthful precociousness with elements of traditional Americana, including photography, street signs, and historic headlines, Gorneau plays with elements of pop culture and the status quo to make the viewer rethink how various cultural concepts and events can, are, or even should be viewed.
