Discussion with the Artists: More than Hot Type
Join Executive Director Susan Fisher and Exhibitions Manager Amelia Onorato, on May 3 from 5:30 to 6:30 PM, for a discussion with four printmakers currently featured in the special exhibition More than Hot Type, currently on view in MMoA’s Liebig Gallery through May 29. Artists to be interviewed are Ruth A.B. Clegg, Elizabeth A. Goddard, Susan L. Hardy, and Carol Strause Fitzsimonds (all members of the Providence Art Club featured in the exhibition). Space is limited, to encourage discussion and exchange. For more information, call 860-536-7601.
More Than Hot Type showcases the PAC group portfolio of 25 innovative prints targeting contemporary social and political issues, environmental concerns, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the process of printmaking itself. The exhibition at MMoA is the final opportunity to see the original prints and artists’ statements of this prestigious portfolio before it joins the Graphics Art Collection of the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History.
This event is free to all! Parking is included.
