MMoA’s celebratory exhibition for reopening the galleries after six months of COVID lockdown is a Museum-wide exploration of our permanent collection—from founding members of the institution such as Charles H. Davis, Frances D. Davis, and Lorinda Dudley, to current artist members like Dan Truth, Sarah Stifler Lucas, Rita Dawley, and many more. Local artistic phenoms Henry Ward Ranger, Y.E. Soderberg, Robert Brackman, and Childe Hassam are also represented!
Precautions are in place for in-person visitation: we require all Museum patrons to wear a mask inside the building, and check in at our new Visitor Services window. A one-way traffic flow through the galleries and Museum Store has also been implemented to encourage proper social distancing, and new air purifiers have been added to our restrooms. Museum admission continues to be free!
